Description:
A fully competent engineer in hardware and/or software design. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Develops new approaches to problems. Requires professional experience to assure competence as a professional. Independently performs assignments with instructions as to the general results expected. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval for projects. May supervise or coordinate the work of interns, technicians, or other engineers.
Essential Job Functions:
Independently designs, develops, and debugs new product software based upon assembly level or high-level language.
Independently implements/optimizes algorithms in software. Capable of modeling/simulating algorithms in software.
Independently designs, builds, and tests new digital and analog circuitry.
Prepare complete product documentation for hardware, software, and scheduling. Assists in system level architecture definition. Performs as a subsystem lead engineer.
Provides detailed customer support for new and existing products.
Assist in determining product development plans including schedules, cost and feasibility estimates, high level requirements and technical approaches.
Maintain current knowledge of industry and relevant technology.
Qualifications:
BSEE/BSCompE degree or equivalent and more than 3 years of experience, or MSEE/MSCompE degree and more than 2 years of experience.
Key Performance Indicators:
Complete assigned projects according to performance plan (schedule, cost, design specifications, documentation, field complaints, and production yield).
Works independently during technical phase on new or variant product development.
Provide positive leadership inside and outside the company to ensure that Ingenient Technologies Inc is at the leading edge of technology in the industry.
