Job profile:
The Senior Software Engineer will work with other Software engineers in the Ann Arbor and New York offices, product/project managers and various related teams to design, create, maintain and document data handling loaders to establish and maintain FAME databases, ensuring that software adheres to SDMS standards and providing level 2 or level 3 support for the software developed. Support for existing database loaders will serve as an introduction to both the FAME DBMS and established procedures for loading data into the DBMS. The support functions will include reacting to raised issues from various groups (mostly client facing) and helping to solve the issues they raise by fixing the code themselves. When unable to resolve issues, follow an established escalation procedure until the issue is closed.
